Chad made my entire experience everything I could have hoped for and more. I have wanted hair extensions for a really long time and did a lot of research before making my choice. I came here when my hair was pretty damaged from chemical processes and was thinking the only way to get it healthy was to dye it dark and let it completely grow out. I got my hair bleached over the summer and had been really missing my natural ginger color. I’ve always been told it’s really hard to get my hair color when dying hair so I never really considered it because I worried it would be too different from my natural color. I’ve been seeing Jinger for haircuts since they were in training and seeing them specialize in color so I really wanted to go back to see them for my hair color since I really trust them with my hair. She did an absolutely amazing job and it feels like there’s curl back in my hair again where the bleach spots are and even though the color is not exactly with my natural hair, I honestly think I love it more because it adds more fun reds in my hair and fades it in nicely! I came to Kaur Lounge with unhealthy and tired hair a few years back, and it was the very best decision! Blonde is a tough color to maintain and requires proper, attentive maintenance, and trust between client and stylist. I trusted a dear friend's recommendation and scheduled with the owner Caryn. Immediately, she treated me as though we'd known each other for years. We discussed my concerns; she listened openly. And this next part is key... the communication was on point. OBSESSED..with the Salon. I was visiting from LA and had just recently had my hair highlighted. The color was just off and way to brassy of a blonde for me. I have not had my hair or beard trimmed in about 2 years, since my last child was born. I have not had great experience most times I've had it styled other places. Ally was AWESOME! I actually met her outside of her work and got to talking and was immediately comfortable with her. She had so much knowledge about my type of hair and how to cut it. I made an appointment (which was hassle free) and she did an AMAZING job. I love how she trimmed my beard to match the shape of my face. My hair is so silky smooth! I had a Brazilian Blowout done by Jessica this past weekend. The process, while a longer service, is pleasant and painless! And wow... the results!! I wish I had taken better before and afters, because the change in my hair is incredible. It didn’t take out my natural curl, but it smoother and controlled them. It has cut my air and blow drying time in half at least, and my hair is shiny without a touch of product in it! Jessica was learning but professional and open to feedback from Caryn, the owner, who supervised every bit of it.
